Is the Koi Chandelier made from glass scales?

No. The fish body uses layered natural wood and wood-skin scale elements on a metal structure. Light passes through the spacing within the sculptural body. Wood grain, tone and texture vary naturally across scales and fins.

Do the Koi dimensions include its fins and tail?

Use the listed length, width and height as the complete fish envelope from nose to tail and across the projecting fins, not only the illuminated body. Keep additional clearance for suspension, installation access and the visual direction of the fish.

How do the five Koi Chandelier sizes scale up?

All three dimensions increase: from L59 x W27.5 x H29.1 inches through 70.9 x 32.3 x 34.6, 78.7 x 37 x 39, 98.4 x 46.1 x 48.8, to 118.1 x 55.1 x 58.7 inches. Check the full length and fin width before choosing from height alone.

Is one Koi size a group of several fish?

No. The current size selector identifies one horizontal koi sculpture in five overall sizes. If a project needs more than one fish, send the number, direction and relative elevations so the ceiling points and spacing can be reviewed as a separate composition.

Which bulb fits inside the Koi body?

Koi uses an E26 or E27 bulb holder for an LED bulb or Edison-style bulb. Confirm the destination standard before ordering, choose a lamp within the approved wattage, and use a dimmable lamp only with a compatible wall control. The current Wood Color is the only finish choice.

How is the long Koi body supported from the ceiling?

Several suspension lines support the fish along its length so the body and fins hold their intended orientation. Mark every ceiling point from the approved plan, support the sculpture during connection, then level the nose, body and tail before energizing the lamp.

Where should the Koi Chandelier face in the room?

Run its nose-to-tail axis with a long dining table, bar, lobby, corridor or open ceiling bay. Decide the viewing direction from the main entrance and keep the projecting head, fins and tail clear of walls, doors, sprinklers and circulation.

How do I clean or replace a Koi wood scale?

Switch off power and let the bulb cool. Dust the wood with a soft dry microfiber cloth while supporting the scale; do not soak the wood or bend the metal framework. For replacement, send the fish size, left/right body side, scale or fin position, wood tone, dimensions and connector photos.
