Which three alabaster modules are called A, B and C?

A is D12 x H22cm, B is D14 x H16cm and C is D10 x H23cm. They are different rounded and faceted stone forms, so select by the full letter and dimensions rather than treating every glowing module as the same ball.

How do vertical and horizontal multi-light variants differ?

The 3-light and 4-light options carrying the -Pendant suffix are shown as vertical stacked compositions. The same L60/H14 and L80/H14 labels without that suffix are shown as horizontal rows; confirm the SKU drawing because the shared size wording does not describe both orientations clearly.

What lengths are offered for the horizontal rows?

The horizontal family lists 3 lights at L60 x H14cm, 4 at L80 x H14cm, 6 at L135 x H14cm and 9 at L180 x H14cm. Measure the complete row against the table or island, including end clearance and every ceiling drop.

What do the suspension diagrams confirm?

The gallery shows 150cm suspension and 12cm ceiling plates for the individual and multi-light examples. It does not define the shortest setting or cable-lock travel, so approve usable drop, plate depth, wire entry and every suspension point before rough-in.

How are Black and Brass versions identified?

White + Black and White + Brass change the ceiling hardware, suspension details and small joints between stone modules. Natural alabaster stays white with individual veining, tone and translucency; approve the complete metal finish schedule by SKU.

Which integrated LED details are documented?

Dimension graphics label 12W singles, 24W two-light, 36W three-light, 45W four-light, 72W six-light and 108W nine-light examples. The page lists 3000K standard, optional 4000K and dimming; confirm connected load, drivers and control protocol for the exact SKU.

How should an A, B or C stone replacement be specified?

Record the SKU, module letter, vertical or horizontal position, diameter, height, metal joint finish, cable connection and vein direction. Request the matching module rather than substituting a similar rounded piece with different dimensions or retention points.

What installation plan is needed for the 180cm row?

Mark the full 180cm body on the table axis, map every 12cm ceiling plate and suspension point, verify structure and circuit routing, then hang and level the metal connections before fitting protected A/B/C stones. Recheck the lowest edge under full load.

Material Comparison

Genuine Alabaster vs. Resin Imitation

They can look similar in photos, but natural alabaster and resin differ in veining, weight, translucency, heat resistance, and the way they glow when illuminated.

Genuine Natural AlabasterNatural stone with unique veining and layered translucency. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Resin Imitation AlabasterA manufactured material with more controlled color and pattern, usually lighter and more uniform.
ComparisonGenuine Natural AlabasterResin Imitation Alabaster
Veining & TextureNatural, layered and non-repeating veining with a cool, stone-like surface.Patterns are more controlled and may repeat; the surface can feel warmer and more uniform.
WeightDenser and heavier, with a more substantial material feel.Lighter and generally easier to handle during installation.
Light TransmissionCreates naturally varied translucency and a layered glow through the stone.Light transmission depends on the resin formula and tends to look more uniform.
Heat ResistanceNatural stone offers stable performance for normal lighting applications.More sensitive to prolonged heat exposure depending on the material formula.
Lighting AtmosphereWarm light with visible depth and natural variation.A cleaner, more consistent illuminated appearance with less natural depth.
Price & ValueHigher material cost, with each piece carrying its own natural pattern.More budget-friendly when consistency and cost control are the priority.

Quick guide: Choose genuine alabaster when natural texture and a richer lighting effect matter most. Choose resin when a more uniform appearance and lower cost are the priority.

How to Tell Genuine Alabaster from Resin Imitation
  • Look at the veining: Genuine alabaster has irregular patterns without obvious repetition.
  • Feel the surface: Natural stone usually feels cooler to the touch than resin.
  • Compare the weight: At the same size, natural alabaster is generally heavier.
  • Turn on the light: Genuine stone shows more natural variation and depth through the illuminated surface.
Why We Use Genuine Natural Alabaster

This product is made with genuine natural alabaster, selected for its stone texture, natural veining, and translucent lighting effect.

  • Unique natural veining: Each piece has its own pattern.
  • Authentic stone texture: The material retains the cool, substantial feel of natural stone.
  • Layered light: The stone diffuses illumination with natural variation rather than a perfectly uniform surface.

Natural variation: Differences in color, veining, and translucency are normal. We select pieces to keep the overall fixture visually balanced while preserving the character of the stone.

Which Material Should You Choose?
  • Choose genuine alabaster for natural material character, visible veining, and a richer interior lighting effect.
  • Choose resin imitation when budget control and a highly consistent appearance are more important.
  • For damp or outdoor areas, confirm the fixture rating and material suitability before installation.
Size Guide

Choose the Right Alabaster Fixture for Your Space

Alabaster lighting should feel balanced with the room, not oversized or visually weak. Use the guide below as a starting point, then adjust based on ceiling height, furniture size, and the visual weight of the fixture.

Need a more accurate recommendation?

Send us your room size, ceiling height, installation photo, and preferred style. We can help recommend a suitable diameter, length, hanging height, or custom layout.

  • Room length and width
  • Ceiling height
  • Table, island, or stairwell size
  • Installation photo or floor plan
SpaceRecommended TypeSimple Size Rule
Dining RoomRound chandelier / linear chandelier Choose a fixture that feels proportional to the table. For rectangular tables, a linear alabaster chandelier often gives better visual balance.
Kitchen IslandLinear pendant / multiple pendants Match the fixture length to the island length, leaving visual clearance at both ends. Hanging height should consider sightline and ceiling height.
Two-Story FoyerStatement chandelier / cascade chandelier Taller entry spaces usually need more vertical presence. Keep the lowest point visually clear and proportional to the entry height.
StaircaseCascade chandelier / multi-light pendant The fixture should follow the height of the stairwell and remain visible from both upper and lower levels.
BedroomSoft pendant / wall sconces Choose a softer scale and warm light effect. Bedside sconces should relate to bed height and reading comfort.
Bathroom / VanityWall sconces Install beside or above the mirror based on face height, mirror width, and fixture rating. Contact us before using alabaster lighting in damp areas.

Alabaster FAQ

Questions About Alabaster Lighting

Alabaster is a natural stone, so every fixture has its own tone, veining, and light effect. These answers help clarify material variation, customization, installation, and delivery.

For custom size, project quantity, or installation advice, send your room dimensions and reference photos.

Is alabaster a real natural stone?
Yes. Our alabaster lighting uses natural stone material. Each piece has its own mineral veining, tone variation, and translucency. This is part of the material’s character and not a defect.
Will the veining look exactly like the product photos?
No two alabaster pieces are exactly the same. The overall style and light effect will be consistent, but the exact veining, color depth, and stone pattern will naturally vary from piece to piece.
Can I customize the size or finish?
Customization requests for alabaster chandeliers, pendants, and wall sconces may be reviewed for size, hanging height, metal finish, color temperature, and layout. For large projects, requested proportions require written confirmation before purchase based on the space.
What color temperature is best for alabaster lighting?
Warm white is usually recommended because it enhances the soft natural glow of alabaster. 3000K is a common choice for dining rooms, bedrooms, foyers, and hospitality interiors.
Is alabaster lighting suitable for bathrooms?
Alabaster wall sconces can be used in many bathroom vanity areas, but the exact suitability depends on the installation location, moisture exposure, and fixture rating. Contact us before using alabaster lighting in damp or high-humidity spaces.
How do you protect alabaster during shipping?
Alabaster is fragile, so we use protective inner packaging and reinforced wooden crates for international delivery. Each order is checked before packing to reduce the risk of damage during transit.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production time and shipping time vary depending on product details, transportation method, and destination.
Can you help me choose the right size?
Yes. Send us your room size, ceiling height, installation photo, and preferred fixture style. We can suggest a suitable size, hanging height, and layout for your project.
