    Short Answer

Prepare for a staircase chandelier delivery with the written order, approved drawing, actual packing list, receiving location, and installation handoff plan. Record box labels and visible condition, then reconcile components using the supplier's identifiers and instructions before the installer begins assembly. Keep glass, stone, shades, light sources, drivers, plates, and hardware identified as specified for the exact order. A styled photograph is not a component checklist, and a pendant-only option may differ from a complete lighting package. Preserve the relevant records and contact the supplier and carrier promptly about discrepancies according to the actual terms. The site team should control handling, assembly, and access above the stairs.

A complex chandelier can arrive in several packages with decorative elements separate from the ceiling assembly. The delivery date and the installation appointment are therefore different milestones. A receiving record helps the owner, supplier, and installer identify what is present, what belongs to the selected configuration, and what needs resolution before the fixture is handled above a stairwell.

Keep the Order, Drawing, and Packing List Together

The written order identifies the model, exact options, materials, finishes, and agreed source package. The approved drawing identifies the arrangement, dimensions, and mounting proposal. The packing list identifies how the delivered items are grouped. Use all three; none alone gives the complete project record.

Include separately agreed items such as ceiling plates, lamps, drivers, control equipment, or spare decorative pieces. Their inclusion should follow the actual order rather than a general assumption about chandeliers. Where an option says no ceiling plate or pendant-only, resolve the full lighting assembly before the installation visit.

    Document Labels and Visible Condition

Arrange the receiving location and access route using the supplier's actual package information and the site team's handling plan. Keep boxes out of the working stair route. Identify who receives the delivery and who communicates with the supplier or carrier if something is missing or visibly damaged.

Photograph box labels and visible condition in a way that ties each record to the order. Follow the actual supplier, carrier, and insurance instructions for inspection and reporting. Inspection deadlines, replacement arrangements, and coverage depend on the agreed terms and circumstances.

Map Components to the Actual Arrangement

Use the supplied identifiers to map decorative pieces and assemblies to the drawing. Record counts for each distinct size or type rather than writing one total for everything. A fixture may include several shapes that look similar in a thumbnail but belong at different positions.

Keep protection and labels with the components until the installer accepts the inventory. Handle and unpack them according to the supplied instructions and the site team's plan. Do not infer that individual glass pieces are interchangeable or that a body should be dismantled because a photograph appears to show separate pendants.

Worked Example: A Box Count Is Not a Component Count

Suppose a hypothetical order has two ceiling assemblies and 18 decorative pieces. The delivery contains four boxes. Four boxes cannot establish completeness: the packing list might distribute the 18 pieces across three boxes and the assemblies in the fourth, or use a different arrangement.

A useful receiving table has columns for order item, supplied identifier, expected count, received count, visible condition, and unresolved question. If the written order specifies 12 small pieces and 6 large ones, count those groups separately. Apply the same recordkeeping method to the packing list for your own order.

Decide Whether the Installation Package Is Ready

Before the fitting visit, give the installer the approved drawings, product instructions, reconciled inventory, source/control information, and unresolved questions. Keep installation readiness separate from a delivery signature. The installer should have the agreed mounting, support, electrical, assembly, and access information for the actual site.

If a required component or specification is unresolved, coordinate the next step with the supplier and installer rather than substituting a similar-looking part. Retain the final order, identifiers, photos, and installation record for future service. These records can help identify a replacement component years later without guessing from a room photograph.

    Planning Comparison

Decision Useful comparison Resolve before purchase
Order record Exact product, options and included assemblies Avoid assuming every option is a complete lit package
Receiving record Labels, counts and visible condition Use actual inspection/reporting terms
Installer handoff Approved drawings, instructions and reconciled items Delivery receipt alone does not establish readiness

    Six Product Comparisons

Compare these designs for the planning questions above. Keep the exact ordered option, complete installed dimensions, and project requirements together when reviewing a final proposal.

    Raw Crystal Custom Chandelier

Raw Crystal Custom Chandelier — amber glass elements in a broad suspended wave
Raw Crystal Custom Chandelier — amber glass elements in a broad suspended wave.

Crystal-glass forms with round and long configuration options. A lit round-canopy option is labelled Ø100 × H200 cm.

Its options distinguish a canopy with light sources from a pendant-only arrangement. Put that exact wording on the order and receiving record. A box of pendants is not evidence that the complete lighting package has arrived.

    Glacier Custom Chandelier

Glacier Custom Chandelier — clear and smoky glass forms arranged in a curved suspended row
Glacier Custom Chandelier — clear and smoky glass forms arranged in a curved suspended row.

Crystal glass with clear, smoke-grey, or blue finish directions. A small round size is listed at Ø20 × H150 cm.

The option notes no ceiling plate. Include the separately agreed ceiling assembly in the component schedule rather than counting only glass pieces. Inventory follows the written order and packing list, not a styled product photograph.

    Crystal Mosaic Chandelier

Crystal Mosaic Chandelier — clear geometric elements forming a long narrow mosaic column
Crystal Mosaic Chandelier — clear geometric elements forming a long narrow mosaic column.

A crystal-glass mosaic column with a gold body. The small listed size is Ø27 × H100 cm.

A column reference helps distinguish one complete decorative body from a collection of independent pendants. Identify which parts arrive assembled and which remain separate using the manufacturer-supplied instructions and the actual packing record.

    Emerald Rainfall Crystal Custom Chandelier

Emerald Rainfall Crystal Custom Chandelier — green glass drops descending in a tapered cluster
Emerald Rainfall Crystal Custom Chandelier — green glass drops descending in a tapered cluster.

Emerald-green and clear crystal-glass drops with round or linear arrangements. Model A includes a Ø50 × H150 cm option.

Record the model letter, plate shape, glass colors, and arrangement before opening the installation package. Model B and C references should not be treated as interchangeable because their overall lengths appear similar.

    Iris Iridescent Blossom Chandelier

Iris Iridescent Blossom Chandelier — pastel translucent blossom forms in a broad suspended cluster
Iris Iridescent Blossom Chandelier — pastel translucent blossom forms in a broad suspended cluster.

Iridescent glass blossom forms in round and linear arrangements. A round option is listed at Ø50 × H150 cm.

Photograph glass condition and group pieces by the agreed identifiers. Iridescent color changes with viewing angle, so a single phone image is not a reliable color-match approval. Use the supplied sample or written finish reference.

    Clouds Iridescent Disc Chandelier

Clouds Iridescent Disc Chandelier — purple, blue, and green discs at varied heights
Clouds Iridescent Disc Chandelier — purple, blue, and green discs at varied heights.

Iridescent glass discs with metal in round arrangements. The smallest listed diameter is Ø30 cm with H150 cm.

Identify disc pieces and their intended positions using the approved layout. Preserve labels and protection until the installer accepts the inventory. A visual impression of completeness should not replace a count against the actual order.

    FAQ

Does the delivery signature confirm the chandelier is complete?

It does not replace reconciliation against the actual order and packing list. Document the delivered items and resolve discrepancies promptly under the agreed terms.

Should every chandelier include a ceiling plate?

Inclusion depends on the exact product option and order. Some listed options expressly omit it; coordinate the complete assembly before fitting.

Can I use a similar spare glass piece?

Only after product-specific identification and supplier guidance. Appearance alone does not establish fit, attachment, or material compatibility.

Do I need one count for all decorative pieces?

Use separate counts for distinct sizes and types, tied to the supplied identifiers and approved arrangement.

What should the installer receive before the visit?

The final drawings, instructions, agreed support/electrical proposal, inventory, source/control information, access plan, and any unresolved issues.
