Product Size
Two-ring format: outer ring plus inner ring. The torus body cross-section is Dia 15 cm / 5.9 in for all sizes.
| Configuration | Outer Ring | Inner Ring | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 + 40 cm | Dia 80 cm / 31.5 in | Dia 40 cm / 15.7 in | Small to medium dining rooms, bedrooms, and compact living areas |
| 90 + 50 cm | Dia 90 cm / 35.4 in | Dia 50 cm / 19.7 in | Medium dining rooms, open living rooms, and refined lounge spaces |
| 100 + 60 cm | Dia 100 cm / 39.4 in | Dia 60 cm / 23.6 in | Dining tables around 150-200 cm / 59-79 in or larger living rooms |
| 120 + 80 cm | Dia 120 cm / 47.2 in | Dia 80 cm / 31.5 in | Double-height foyers, villas, hotel lobbies, restaurants, and large open spaces |
Choosing the Right Size
Keep the outer ring narrower than a dining table and balance its diameter with the ceiling height. The 100 + 60 cm version suits many 150–200 cm / 59–79 in tables; the 120 + 80 cm version has more presence for double-height foyers, villas, hospitality spaces, and wide sight lines. Compact rooms generally suit the two smaller combinations.

A Softer Glow, Formed by Nature
Alabaster lighting is valued for its warm translucency, natural veining, and quiet architectural presence. Each piece of stone carries its own tone, pattern, and depth, creating a fixture that feels more organic, softer, and more refined than ordinary decorative lighting.

Genuine Alabaster vs. Resin Imitation
They can look similar in photos, but natural alabaster and resin differ in veining, weight, translucency, heat resistance, and the way they glow when illuminated.
| Comparison | Genuine Natural Alabaster | Resin Imitation Alabaster |
|---|---|---|
| Veining & Texture | Natural, layered and non-repeating veining with a cool, stone-like surface. | Patterns are more controlled and may repeat; the surface can feel warmer and more uniform. |
| Weight | Denser and heavier, with a more substantial material feel. | Lighter and generally easier to handle during installation. |
| Light Transmission | Creates naturally varied translucency and a layered glow through the stone. | Light transmission depends on the resin formula and tends to look more uniform. |
| Heat Resistance | Natural stone offers stable performance for normal lighting applications. | More sensitive to prolonged heat exposure depending on the material formula. |
| Lighting Atmosphere | Warm light with visible depth and natural variation. | A cleaner, more consistent illuminated appearance with less natural depth. |
| Price & Value | Higher material cost, with each piece carrying its own natural pattern. | More budget-friendly when consistency and cost control are the priority. |
Quick guide: Choose genuine alabaster when natural texture and a richer lighting effect matter most. Choose resin when a more uniform appearance and lower cost are the priority.
How to Tell Genuine Alabaster from Resin Imitation
- Look at the veining: Genuine alabaster has irregular patterns without obvious repetition.
- Feel the surface: Natural stone usually feels cooler to the touch than resin.
- Compare the weight: At the same size, natural alabaster is generally heavier.
- Turn on the light: Genuine stone shows more natural variation and depth through the illuminated surface.
Why We Use Genuine Natural Alabaster
This product is made with genuine natural alabaster, selected for its stone texture, natural veining, and translucent lighting effect.
- Unique natural veining: Each piece has its own pattern.
- Authentic stone texture: The material retains the cool, substantial feel of natural stone.
- Layered light: The stone diffuses illumination with natural variation rather than a perfectly uniform surface.
Natural variation: Differences in color, veining, and translucency are normal. We select pieces to keep the overall fixture visually balanced while preserving the character of the stone.
Which Material Should You Choose?
- Choose genuine alabaster for natural material character, visible veining, and a richer interior lighting effect.
- Choose resin imitation when budget control and a highly consistent appearance are more important.
- For damp or outdoor areas, confirm the fixture rating and material suitability before installation.
Choose the Right Alabaster Fixture for Your Space
Alabaster lighting should feel balanced with the room, not oversized or visually weak. Use the guide below as a starting point, then adjust based on ceiling height, furniture size, and the visual weight of the fixture.

Send us your room size, ceiling height, installation photo, and preferred style. We can help recommend a suitable diameter, length, hanging height, or custom layout.
- Room length and width
- Ceiling height
- Table, island, or stairwell size

| Space | Recommended Type | Simple Size Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Dining Room | Round chandelier / linear chandelier | Choose a fixture that feels proportional to the table. For rectangular tables, a linear alabaster chandelier often gives better visual balance. |
| Kitchen Island | Linear pendant / multiple pendants | Match the fixture length to the island length, leaving visual clearance at both ends. Hanging height should consider sightline and ceiling height. |
| Two-Story Foyer | Statement chandelier / cascade chandelier | Taller entry spaces usually need more vertical presence. Keep the lowest point visually clear and proportional to the entry height. |
| Staircase | Cascade chandelier / multi-light pendant | The fixture should follow the height of the stairwell and remain visible from both upper and lower levels. |
| Bedroom | Soft pendant / wall sconces | Choose a softer scale and warm light effect. Bedside sconces should relate to bed height and reading comfort. |
| Bathroom / Vanity | Wall sconces | Install beside or above the mirror based on face height, mirror width, and fixture rating. Contact us before using alabaster lighting in damp areas. |
