Are the curved Storm shades real wood or printed plastic?

The product details and workshop image identify a wood construction made from many shaped slats joined into a curled shell. The slat edges remain visible when the lamp is on, giving each head its ribbed sculptural form.

How large is one Storm wood shell?

Each shell is shown at 15.75 inches wide and 23.62 inches high. That individual shade size is separate from the 40, 50 or 60 cm overall cluster width and the adjustable cable length above the shades.

How does Storm change from two to five lights?

Two and three lights share a listed 15.75-inch cluster width, four lights increase to 19.69 inches and five lights increase to 23.62 inches. The higher counts add more 15.75 x 23.62-inch shells, so also allow clearance between their curled tips.

What is the visual difference between light wood and dark wood Storm?

Light wood keeps the slat edges pale and makes the warm interior glow softer. Dark wood gives the curled silhouette and ribs stronger contrast. Both finishes use the same shell form and 2–5 light configurations.

Can the E27 lamps be reached without removing the wood shells?

Yes. Each shell curves around an open lamp area rather than forming a sealed globe. Switch off power, let the lamp cool and support the shell while replacing the E27 lamp through the opening; do not pull down on the wood slats.

Is Storm dimmable in the 3000K or 6000K selections?

No. The current variants are fixed Warm White 3000K or Cold White 6000K, and the product is listed as non-dimmable. Choose the color temperature to match nearby stair, dining and ceiling lights before ordering.

How should dust be removed between Storm's wood slats?

Turn off power, let the E27 lamp cool and use a soft dry brush or low-suction dusting tool along the direction of the ribs. Hold the shell steady and avoid water, furniture polish, compressed air at close range or pressure that spreads the slats.

What details are required for a replacement Storm wood shell?

Send the order number, light or dark wood finish, head position, 15.75 x 23.62-inch shell dimensions, cable attachment photo, E27 holder view and images of the damaged slats. The wood finish and mounting point must match the existing cluster.

Hanging or Mounting Height

Set each shell independently so the curled wood tips and 23.62-inch body heights do not touch; measure the lowest tip, not only the E27 lamp center.
Use no more than the 59.1-inch standard cable length unless an extended cable is confirmed, and keep the 40–60 cm canopy clear of beams and ceiling trim.

Use 2–3 lights for a compact stair corner or small table; choose 4–5 where the sculpted wood shells can be viewed from several angles without entering the railing zone.
Light wood reads softly beside pale oak and plaster; dark wood creates stronger contrast with black railings, walnut and dark stone.
