Lighting Size Guide

Find the Right Fixture Size

Use these quick rules as a starting point for choosing chandelier size and hanging height. For large foyers, staircases or custom installations, we recommend reviewing the full room dimensions.

01 Chandelier Diameter
Room Length + Room Width

Add the room length and width in feet. Use the same number in inches as a starting chandelier diameter.

Example: 12′ + 14′ = about 26″ diameter
02 Dining Table
About 1/2–2/3 of the Table Width

The chandelier should feel proportional to the table while leaving visual space around the fixture.

Keep the fixture centered over the table
03 Dining Hanging Height
30–36″ Above the Table

For a standard dining installation, measure from the tabletop to the lowest point of the chandelier.

Adjust slightly for ceiling height and fixture proportion
04 High Ceiling / Staircase
Size by Overall Space and Drop

Double-height foyers and staircases should be sized using ceiling height, room width, fixture length and the desired lowest point.

Sightlines and floor clearance should also be considered

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 22 reviews.

This was used in a hotel-style passage renovation. The finish looked even once it was under room lighting. We laid the parts out on a table first, which made the installation smoother. The wood crate was not easy to dispose of, but it made sense for this type of fixture. It worked well for our space and did not feel generic after installation.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

For our guest bathroom, we needed something that looked finished but still practical. The sockets and wiring points were tidy enough for our electrician to work with. We checked the glass and metal construction closely before installation and did not see chips or rough edges. The reply time was not instant every time, but the answers were specific. Delivery took some planning, but the packaging protected the fragile parts well. Guests notice the material first, then the overall shape. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

The fixture arrived for a powder room project and the glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. They explained the difference between the glass options before we placed the order. Guests notice the material first, then the overall shape. The room already had other brass and glass details, so matching the finish mattered more than I expected. The product page could show one more close-up of the mounting detail. The final result matched the direction we wanted for the room.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

We wanted a fixture that could hold up in a project setting, and the stone/glass surface looked more refined in person than in the close-up photos. The support team helped us confirm the scale against our table width. The canopy covered the ceiling opening cleanly. It looks better with the ceiling lights dimmed down a little. One part of the finish looked slightly different under daylight, but it was not noticeable after installation. I would recommend confirming all measurements first, then ordering.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

I was more concerned about quality and shipping than the design, and the glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. The glass and metal construction looks better once installed at the right height rather than sitting in the crate. Nothing was broken when we opened the box, which was my main concern. Customer service confirmed the ceiling height before production. The proportions worked better than using two smaller fixtures. We did a full inspection before the installer arrived, which I recommend for fixtures with multiple parts. The packaging created a lot of material to clean up afterward. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

I was more concerned about quality and shipping than the design, and the glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. We checked the glass and metal construction closely before installation and did not see chips or rough edges. The electrician said the wiring was straightforward once the parts were sorted. The outer box had marks from transport, while the inside packing was intact. The support team helped us confirm the scale against our table width. It worked well with warm white bulbs. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

This was used in a guest bathroom renovation. The color was close to the photos, with small natural variation. The crate was heavier than expected, so two people were needed to move it inside. The instructions were enough for a professional installer, but I would not call it a DIY job. The scale was right once we saw it in the room, not just on the floor. We did not need a replacement part, but the packing made it easy to identify each piece. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

We used this in a reading nook with a higher ceiling. The glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. The glass and metal construction was the detail that made the fixture feel different from a standard catalog light. The delivery appointment needed coordination, but the fixture arrived in good condition. They sent enough information for our electrician to prepare the ceiling box. A small level adjustment after installation made a noticeable difference. The room feels more complete now that the fixture is installed. The light output depends a lot on the bulbs, so we tested two color temperatures before choosing one. The installation cost more than a basic light because of the size. I would recommend confirming all measurements first, then ordering.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

After unpacking everything, my first impression was that the glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. The glass and metal construction has some variation, which is expected and was acceptable for our space. It looks better with the ceiling lights dimmed down a little. Customer service confirmed the ceiling height before production. I would not rush the installation, but the final result was worth the planning.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

The product photos were useful, but the real test was the material. The finish looked even once it was under room lighting. Each glass piece was separated with foam, which saved time during inspection. Installation needed two people because the fixture has weight and multiple parts. The scale was right once we saw it in the room, not just on the floor. The installation cost more than a basic light because of the size. I would not rush the installation, but the final result was worth the planning.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

I was more concerned about quality and shipping than the design, and the hardware lined up better than expected. The glass and metal construction was the detail that made the fixture feel different from a standard catalog light. The tracking updates were not daily, but the delivery window was accurate enough. The height adjustment was important for the final look. We changed the hanging length before production and they updated the order without making it complicated. One part of the finish looked slightly different under daylight, but it was not noticeable after installation. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

The first thing I checked was the nickel finish, not the overall look. It looked better after installation than it did while laid out on the floor. I appreciated that they explained the packing method before shipping because the fixture is not small. Delivery was smoother once we arranged help to bring the crate indoors. The installer spent more time on leveling than wiring. The visual weight is stronger than a simple pendant but not as busy as a crystal chandelier.. My only complaint is that the crate is awkward to handle. The end result matched the space better than I expected.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

Good project fixture for a stair landing. The finish was clean, and customer service helped confirm the hanging length before production.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

The communication was mostly about measurements and packaging, which was exactly what I needed. The color shifted a little depending on the time of day, which worked well in the space. Delivery required coordination because the box was larger than a normal parcel. For a high-value fixture, the process felt reasonable. We unpacked it in the garage first and checked the visible pieces one by one. That added time, but it also meant the electrician started with everything organized.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

After unpacking everything, my first impression was that the metal parts felt solid rather than thin. We checked the glass and metal construction closely before installation and did not see chips or rough edges. The electrician said the wiring was straightforward once the parts were sorted. The proportions worked better than using two smaller fixtures. The wood crate was not easy to dispose of, but it made sense for this type of fixture. The order was for a remodel, so having dimensions confirmed in advance helped avoid delays. One part of the finish looked slightly different under daylight, but it was not noticeable after installation. I would use this again for a planned project where timing is flexible.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

We ordered this for our stair landing, and the main thing I noticed was the color was close to the photos, with small natural variation. The glass and metal construction has some variation, which is expected and was acceptable for our space. Delivery took some planning, but the packaging protected the fragile parts well. Customer service confirmed the ceiling height before production. Overall it feels like a considered purchase rather than a quick decorative item.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

This was selected for a renovation where the lighting had to look intentional, not decorative only. Everything arrived intact, including the smaller parts that I expected to be easy to lose. The product is heavier than it appears online. It made sense for a room where lighting is a main feature. The scale was the main reason I chose it. A smaller light would have looked lost in the space.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

I bought this after seeing similar fixtures used in a hospitality project. The wooden crate took time to open, but nothing was cracked inside. The fixture gives enough presence without blocking the sightline across the room. The installer spent more time on leveling than wiring. The end result matched the space better than I expected. The glass has a handmade feel, so the small differences between pieces did not bother us.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

This was not a quick impulse purchase for us. We chose it for the stair landing, and the glass pieces had a consistent weight and clean edges. The glass and metal construction has some variation, which is expected and was acceptable for our space. It took longer to unpack than to wire the fixture. The scale was right once we saw it in the room, not just on the floor. The final result matched the direction we wanted for the room.

The tracking updates were not daily, but the delivery window was accurate enough. Communication was practical and mostly about measurements, which I appreciated. The only downside was the waiting time. The experience was more like ordering a project fixture than buying a regular lamp.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

Customer service confirmed the size before production, which avoided a mistake on our side. The mounting process took longer than a standard pendant, which we expected. The connection points were clean enough that our installer did not complain about alignment. The glass has a handmade feel, so the small differences between pieces did not bother us.

Art Deco Scallop Wall Light

The client originally wanted something smaller. After taping the dimensions on the wall, this size made more sense. Customer service helped with sizing, and the fixture fit the room as planned. The glass has a handmade feel, so the small differences between pieces did not bother us.
